Hello! My name is Katie Owens and I am a portrait photographer in Norfolk, Nebraska.  My work has been published at newbornmagazine.com, and I have received several newborn photography excellence awards from newbornphotographers.com.  I have an Associate Degree in Still Photography, and have almost fifteen years of photography experience.      

When I am not busy running my business, I am spending time with my husband and chasing around our nine year old twins.  You will see them a lot in my work, as they are my favorite subjects to photograph!  We like to spend our free time outdoors camping, gardening, or traveling to new places.  Most people that know me will tell you that I am pretty funny...or at least my laugh is, which usually makes others laugh.  Maybe they are actually laughing at me, not with me! Hmmm...

 

What I do: I am a custom portrait photographer in Norfolk, Nebraska specialized in newborn, baby, children, and family photography.  

 

How I do it: I try to create a fun and unique experience for every session that I photograph. I love photographing families at sunset with that beautiful golden light. I also have a studio in downtown Norfolk where I photograph lifestyle sessions, children, newborns, and just about anything else!  I like to consider my work to be bold and colorful as I love rich hues and bold textures while still offering a timeless look that you will cherish for many years to come.  I am constantly coming up with new ideas and inspirations, and I love hearing what ideas you as clients would like from me to photograph.
