Last week, I got to meet Madi, a Class of 2017 Senior from Neligh-Oakdale High School. She was a little nervous when she arrived at my studio, but I assured her that by the end, she would be a pro. Little did I know, she totally was a pro, and rocked her senior portrait session!
I always like to send a quick questionnaire to seniors before we meet up to get a better idea of what they are into. Madi said she loved urban settings, and bold colors, so I knew the perfect location to go. She showed me her outfit choices when she first arrived, and I immediately knew that I was going to have her wear her Bob Marley shirt at the graffiti wall. The more frames I photographed, the more she loosened up, and by the end of her session, nearly every single image was a keeper!
Madi also wanted a nature setting, so that was a perfect choice for her other two outfits. We moved to our third and final location of the evening, and the lighting was gorgeous! With the help of her mother being my lighting assistant, we captured some stunning images of Madi with beautiful summer light.
Here are a few of my favorites from Madi's senior portrait session. I really could have shared them all with you, but I stuck with just a few.
If you have not already, now is the perfect time to line up your senior portrait session. If you, or your child are getting ready to enter your senior year, be sure to contact me so we can get you scheduled for your own senior pictures!
